Study Your Child
Many children with learning differences struggle with communication. It may be difficult for them to express what they want or what’s bothering them, but they still need us to know this information. Look for ways to communicate with your child without necessarily using words. It could include pointing to, looking at, or approaching specific toys or items. Even facial expressions can speak volumes.
