What is Chaining?
Chaining is an ABA therapy method to help children learn complex or multi-step skills. We break down skills into individual steps that are easier to learn, then each step is taught individually and reinforced when completed correctly. After the first step is learned, the second step in the sequence is added on and so on, like a chain, until a child learns every step successfully.
