What is an adaptive behavior?
Adaptive behaviors are age-appropriate everyday living skills that enable children to learn, interact with others, and become more independent. Listening, sharing, following directions, and daily self-care (e.g., brushing teeth, washing hands, etc…) are all examples of adaptive behaviors. One-to-one therapy at The Behavior Exchange can help teach children a variety of adaptive skills and behaviors
The Behavior Exchange is a Behavior Health Center of Excellence® and an in-network provider.
