Developmentally Delayed
Developmentally delayed is a diagnosis given to children who haven’t met developmental milestones, such as sitting, walking, talking, crawling, etc., in comparison to peers of the same age range. In developmental concerns like autism, development doesn’t follow the typical pattern. For example, a child who has language abilities may be unable to use them for social interaction and communication purposes. Early intervention with ABA therapy can help!
