What is a target behavior?
A “target behavior” is a behavior or skill that is being addressed by the program. It may be the skill needs to be increased or decreased. For example, the target behavior could be asking for help tying shoes (increase asking for assistance) or it could be to sit in the chair at lunch and not throw the plate of food (decrease throwing food).
The Behavior Exchange is a Behavior Health Center of Excellence® and an in-network provider.
