A Parent's Guide to The Behavior Exchange
At The Behavior Exchange we help children with autism, behavioral concerns, and developmental delays increase language, social, and academic skills using proven ABA therapy methods.
We’re also here to support the entire family as you cope with the demands of having a child with autism or other special needs. Parents who approach our ABA treatment center often have questions about what to expect. Here is what you need to know about working with The Behavior Exchange.
How is The Behavior Exchange different?
Once a child is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and parents begin to do research, they are bombarded with information about treatment options. At The Behavior Exchange, we rely exclusively on ABA therapy. ABA—Applied Behavior Analysis—is the gold standard for the treatment of autism. ABA therapy uses positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors and can be helpful to children across the autism spectrum.
How does The Behavior Exchange support families?
How do I know which program is right for my child?
The Behavior Exchange offers several different programs, from One-on-One Therapy to Social Skills Groups and B.E.E.S. (Behavior Exchange Early Start). We will help you select the best program for your child and create a treatment plan to help your family make the best use of our services.
If your child has been diagnosed with autism, contact The Behavior Exchange at 972.312.8733 or email enroll@behaviorexchange.com to request an initial consultation. We firmly believe that every child with autism has the potential to lead a full, wonderful life.
